Dear Ogunquit Community:
At the Select Board meeting on May 6, 2025, the Town Manager renewed his campaign against the
ORA by stating:

“Your ORA group, or people from the group, are preparing to sue the Town.”

“They have sent Discovery requests. They have sent Freedom of Access requests on LEGAL letterhead, etc.
They are preparing to sue the town.”

“And my belief is that your Ogunquit Residents Alliance group is attempting to stop the project and attempting to stall the project…”

“We know that we’ll be sued. So, we await those papers.”

These statements are absolutely false!

The Town Manager continues the long-standing tactic used during every voting cycle to undermine an open and honest Town government. We urge you to listen to the Town Manager’s complete tirade beginning at 1:07:00 at the May 6th Select Board meeting:

Don’t forget to vote accordingly on June 10th.

The Ogunquit Residents Alliance (ORA)
is a civic association established to build community & maintain our quality of life

We are voters and non-voters alike. Some of us were raised in Ogunquit, Maine and attended the Village School. Others summered or vacationed here and chose to return or retire here. Still others chose to have businesses in this community. With vast personal and work experiences, we share a desire to create friendships, value our neighbors and help our Town thrive.

All residents, full or part-time, are welcome to be part of ORA. We are currently using online communication but hope to sponsor in-person events in the future.
