HISTORY
The "Ogunquit Residents Alliance” (ORA) of Ogunquit, Maine is an independent organization of voters and residential taxpayers, both year round and part-time. Formed in March 2016 as a grassroots effort, our goal is to advocate on behalf of residential citizens in Ogunquit. We currently have five broad teams of members who focus on specific priorities. All members are volunteers. |
MEMBERSHIP
ORA membership is composed of both year round residents and part-time residents, meaning all voters and residential taxpayers are welcome. All have an equal vote when ORA takes positions on priorities and other topics of interest. Members can choose to work on teams or projects, attend meetings, or just join the email list to stay informed. ORA meets about 6-10 times per year at the Dunaway Center. We also communicate via email and use online surveys to gauge and communicate the opinion of members on various topics of interest.
